Calling all Ontario Computer Animation and Visual Effects Studios!
Announcing the Launch of an Economic Profile of Ontario’s Computer Animation and VFX Industry in Ontario
Dear CASO Members and others-
We’re delighted to let you know that CASO has successfully engaged Nordicity – with funding from the OMDC – to undertake the next Economic Profile of the Computer Animation and Visual Effects Industry in Ontario. The last study took place in 2012 and reported on our industry’s activity between 2008 and 2010.
Providing government agencies with up-to-date information on our activities is vitally important to making sure that the policies and programs which support our industry are maintained. In fact, the results of the 2012 study [http://nordicity.com/media/2015930vwtwakhhe.pdf] were credited with helping to mitigate the reduction of our tax credit.
How can I support the research?
Nordicity has developed a short survey [http://fluidsurveys.com/s/CASO_Industry_Profile_2015/] asking for information on your past year of activities, projects, revenues and expenditures. This survey questionnaire [http://fluidsurveys.com/s/CASO_Industry_Profile_2015/] is best completed by someone in your company with knowledge of corporate financial and human resource information and should only take 20 minutes to complete.
To support these efforts please click here to be taken to the survey before February 1. [http://fluidsurveys.com/s/CASO_Industry_Profile_2015/]
Confidentiality
CASO and Nordicity guarantee the protection and confidentiality of the data provided by your organization. Your responses to this survey will be combined with that of all our other respondents for aggregate analysis only; under no circumstances will individual company data be communicated or disseminated.
What’s in it for me?
Your participation in this study is enormously important. Your responses will ensure that we can develop an accurate picture of the Computer Animation and Visual Effects Study in Ontario. Such a picture is essential to our collective efforts; it will assist CASO’s work in representing industry interests to key government decision makers and influencers. It will also help companies to understand and take action on important opportunities.
If you have any questions, or concerns please do not hesitate to contact Nordicity’s Julie Whelan at jwhelan@nordicity.com.
